My Mum taught me to sew and I grew up wearing beautiful custom-made outfits in a house with lots of lovely quilts, intricate table decorations and items that she had made.
When my little boy was born, my Mum made me a beautifully personalised baby quilt and I promised myself that I would dust off my sewing machine and attempt to make one myself. I joined a brilliant sewing group and that re-ignited my love of sewing and helped me become more confident.
I soon found myself making keepsake blankets and pillows for friends and before long ‘Hearts and Thoughts’ was born! I absolutely love receiving a box of special memories from a customer and turning it into something that can take pride of place in their house.
I recently expanded the range to include a selection of foiled hand and footprint keepsakes, beautifully capturing your baby’s, child’s, or pet’s prints in stunning metallic foil — perfect for framing and treasuring forever!
